Actor and comedian Mathew Horne has partnered with home improvement and DIY company B&Q to release a 'tongue-in-cheek' masterclass video on how to care for Christmas trees during the festive season, offering tips including 'letting it out of its net wrapping as soon as you get it home, keeping it away from radiators, and giving your "fir"-ry friend a dash of water'.

The Gavin & Stacey star commented 'Who knew there was so much to learn about the Christmas tree. Not only have I learnt a lot, but now my house looks like a Christmas grotto! Double win for me'.
